Bill Pay Just Got Easier and More Secure!
It's Easy!
We are pleased to inform you AmeriCU's Bill Pay service is now even easier to use and it's more secure!
Effective immediately, AmeriCU's Bill Pay is part of our home banking service. This means you no longer require a separate user ID and password to access the bill payment option. Instead, you just need to use your home banking user name and access code to log into our online banking service. It's easy, visit our website and click on the "Online Banking Login" link on the homepage and then just enter the information required.
Since you are now accessing Bill Pay through AmeriCU's Home Banking service, you need to remember bookmarks for the old bill payment link will no longer work. Also, this login process requires a dialog box, so you will need to disable any popup blockers for this process.
Don't Have a Username?
Don't worry, that's easy too! Follow the steps above, but after accessing the online banking login screen, click on the "No username?" link. This page will step you through our easy process to create a user name to access your account.
More Secure than Ever!
This change is part of our efforts to enhance the security that is protecting your identity ... money ... accounts ... and online transactions with state-of-the-art multifactor authentication capabilities. Predators often commit fraud and identity theft by exploiting single-factor authentication which uses one piece of information - such as a password - to validate identity. In response, regulators are requiring all financial institutions to implement multifactor authentication which requires multiple pieces of information to validate identity.
Business as Usual ... or Unusual
Our multifactor authentication solution will automatically monitor your accounts for activity that is "unusual" based on your history with our institution. In the rare event that unusual activity is detected, you will be automatically asked to verify your identity by answering pre-selected security or challenge questions that only you should know the answers.
