AmeriCU is dedicated to creating meaningful connections to make our communities stronger and have the greatest impact on our members. In doing so, AmeriCU’s Charitable giving is focused on Active Duty and Veterans, Economic Development, Educational Literacy and Social Programs and Services.
Active Duty & Veterans
AmeriCU gives back to the armed-forces to honor and express our gratitude for their services with a focus on organizations that support active duty, retired from service, in the reserves, or veterans of the U.S.
Economic Development
AmeriCU seeks to improve the overall economic wellbeing in our community with a focus on stimulating growth, and longterm prosperity.
Educational Literacy
AmeriCU promotes educational programs and initiatives with a focus on financial literacy.
Social Programs & Services
AmeriCU strives to reduce barriers to access resources and opportunities in our community, with a focus on improving quality of life.
Community Requests
AmeriCU is fully committed to fostering growth and success within the communities we serve. We believe that giving back to our community in way of sponsorships, grants, in-kind donations and volunteering, reflects the three pillars that are important to AmeriCU of taking care of our members, our community, and teammates.
Sponsorship
Request for funds that are tied to a specific event or activity that supports an organizations general fundraising in the communities we serve.
Grants
Request for funding for project, program or piece of equipment that makes a specific impact on an organization and in the communities we serve.
Volunteerism
Request for AmeriCU teammates to volunteer and make a positive impact at an organization or event.
In-Kind
Request for donated items to help support a fundraising event or activity.

Governance
Each year at our Annual Meeting, the membership of the credit union votes for members who will serve as Directors on our seven member, all-volunteer Board of Directors.
