AmeriCU is celebrating Credit Union Youth Month! ROME, NY — April 07, 2008 From Monday, April 7 - Wednesday, April 30, AmeriCU is celebrating Credit Union Youth Month. AmeriCU believes in encouraging financial literacy at an early age. All branches will have activities for kids of all ages including how to fill out a checkbook register and how to write a check, as well as math exercises for grade schoolers and coloring pages for younger kids. We are also giving away Star Banks to every new youth account opened and each branch of AmeriCU will have a contest for the kids to be entered into a drawing for a $50 U.S. Savings Bond.
