"Concerts with a Cause"

Announcing the Concert Series Lineup! 

AmeriCU Credit Union presents the "Concerts with a Cause" series, sponsored in part by Romano Auto Dealerships, an event designed to allow people to come downtown for a special evening and to explore the wonderful local shops, pubs, restaurants and service organizations that make Armory Square so exceptional.

When:   Held the second Wednesday of each summer 5pm-8pm (bands play at 5:30).

June 12th, Latin Fiesta with Grupo Pagan to benefit La Liga  

July 10th, Disco Revival with All Star Dyn-O-Myte Disco Review to benefit Go Red for Women

August 14th, Mardi Gras Carnival with Leeron Zydeco & the Hot Tamales to benefit The Open Hand Theatre

 September 11th, 9/11 Tribute with Parrotbeach to benefit the Wounded Warriors Fund

Where: Downtown Syracuse, Armory Square - View Map

Entry:  Free & open to the public! Streets closings begin at 3PM.

Details: Souvenir cups with coupons and vouchers to Armory Square shops and restaurants will be available prior to the event at the AmeriCU Armory Square financial center, 200 Walton Street, with a 5(five) dollar donation to benefit the different local charities highlighted.

The event will feature local street performers and musicians, to include: Jason the Entertainer (juggling, fire torches, magic, and balloon sculptures), The Open Hand Theater (giant festival puppets), the Islandband (Marching Interactive Band), and Dave Corcoran (strolling accordionist), vendors will include Budweiser, Fidelis Care and the United States Army. Vendors for the Draught beer will be available at the event with food stations provided by various Armory Square merchants.
