November is a season of giving, a time when the spirit of generosity flourishes. As the holiday season draws near, the AmeriCU team proudly supports their community. We come together to support and uplift our community, reinforcing the idea that the true richness of life lies in the joy of giving.
AmeriCU teammates are encouraged to spend time in the community and build connections that make a difference. A Personal Day of Meaning provides each teammate eight paid hours to volunteer at a charity of their choice. By supporting local organizations of all sizes, we collectively strive towards building a better society.
AmeriCU’s Personal Day of Meaning serves as a source of inspiration and motivation. AmeriCU teammates dedicated their time and skills to volunteer at over twenty different organizations and events in our local community. AmeriCU teammates did everything from gardening, event set-up, painting, cleaning, sharing their skills and knowledge with students, serving meals, and building beds and homes for people in need.
Our team embraces volunteering with enthusiasm, setting us apart and demonstrating our commitment and dedication to our communities. Our employees are proud to stand as one team, focused on our mission, vision, and people guided by core values to create meaningful connections every day with one another, our members, and the communities we serve. Here are some quotes recognizing the amazing ways our teammates embody these principles.
“I love what it stands for, being a family who needed that extra help meant a lot to me and my kids,” said Anamaria.
“It’s not just about cleaning up, it’s about actively contributing to the well-being of our community and planet,” shared Andrew.
“The American Red Cross does so much for disaster relief and support to those in need. This is an opportunity for me to contribute to my community and be part of a global network dedicated to helping people during emergencies and crises,” said Alycia.
“Volunteering together fosters team building and has a positive impact on our community,” stated Mark.
“It is important to support our youth in the community, giving encouragement and support they need to be successful in school and in life,” stated Rosita.
Making a difference in every community we serve is part of who we are. To make a positive impact, AmeriCU teammates remain dedicated to the communities we serve through volunteerism and working collaboratively with nonprofit partners.
