Homebuyer Dream Program (HDP) 2026*
The Homebuyer Dream Program offers up to $15,000 in grant funds for eligible first-time homebuyers in New York. These funds can be applied toward down payments, closing costs, and required homeownership counseling.
Eligibility requirements include:
- First-time buyer (or no homeownership in the past 3 years)
- Household income at or below 80% of Area Median Income (AMI)
- Minimum $1,000 equity contribution
- Completion of homeownership counseling
- Commitment to live in the home for at least 5 years
USDA Mortgages
