Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert at Mountainfest

Since 2011, AmeriCU Credit Union has been honored to present the Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert that is part of FMWR’s annual Mountainfest. This annual concert is to recognize and give thanks to the soldiers of the United States Army 10th Mountain Division for their valiant service and support to our country. The tribute concert brings nearly 20,000 servicemembers, their families, and the community together for honor and celebration, and the chance to hear some of the best artists and acts that country music has to offer!

AmeriCU’s Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert at Fort Drum’s Mountainfest

AmeriCU’s Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert celebrated its twelfth year as part of FMWR’s Mountainfest. The event, which is free and open to the public, was held on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

AmeriCU Credit Union brings forth this special event as a tribute and expression of gratitude to the brave soldiers of the U.S. Army 10^th Mountain Division, their families, and community, for their remarkable service and selfless sacrifices in service to our nation.

2024 Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert

The 2024 Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert took take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

Country music artist Billy Currington headlined AmeriCU’s 12th Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert at Fort Drum’s Mountainfest, along with special guest Conner Smith.

Past concerts featured national country recording artists Jake Owen, Craig Morgan, Chris Cagle, Gloriana, Kip Moore, Lee Brice, Trace Adkins, Chris Janson, LOCASH, Randy Houser, Lauren Alaina, Justin Moore and Gabby Barrett.

The 10th Mountain Division

The 10th Mountain Division, stationed on Fort Drum, New York, has been the most deployed unit of the U.S. Military since 2001. In 2012, after being deployed for more than 10 years, the soldiers returned to Fort Drum. The AmeriCU Team, along with its members and the Fort Drum community, wanted to do something special to welcome them home, so they worked with credit union officials, the Fort Drum community, and countless sponsors eager to support the soldiers, to create the Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert.
