    The Award:
    AmeriCU Credit Union will be offering twelve $1,000 scholarships to AmeriCU members who are high school seniors continuing their education next year, current college students, or vocational students. Applicants must submit a short online form providing basic information and a brief essay (600 words or less). Optional details like extracurriculars, honors, and hobbies may be included. Applications open on November 15th, and close on March 15th, with winners announced in May.

Eligibility:
  • Must be a current member of AmeriCU
  • Must be a current high school senior continuing their education, current college or vocational student
Application Requirements:
  • Full name
  • Contact information (email & cell phone)
  • Current school attending
  • School attending in the fall semester
  • College entrance essay or a short-form essay (600 words or less)
Additional information(encouraged, but not required):
  • Planned field of study
  • Music, sports, or extracurricular activities
  • Honors and awards
  • Community service and volunteer activities
  • Hobbies and interests
