I’m AnaMaria Popovici, Senior Mortgage Executive with AmeriCU’s Residential Mortgage team since May 2023. Since joining the mortgage industry as an originator in 2018; I’ve helped members navigate buying, building, and refinancing with a focus on clarity, steady communication, and solutions that fit real life. My approach is shaped by my own journey as a borrower – I know how important it is to feel informed and supported. I’ll walk you through the process at your pace, explain the “why” behind each option, and keep you updated from pre‑qualification to closing so nothing feels uncertain or overwhelming.

I’m based in Liverpool, and I’m able to assist members throughout most of New York State, with strong ties to the Utica and Syracuse areas.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of three amazing young adults. When I’m not helping members, you’ll find me on the volleyball court—I’ve played competitively since grade school – or spending time with family and friends. Staying active and connected keeps me grounded and energized.
