Norwood, New York

For over 40 years, The Norwood Lake Association has advocated for the lake, our community, and families in the greater Norwood area. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we work to improve water quality, promote recreational activities, and manage the only community recycling center in Northern New York.

This event will strengthen our community by fostering partnerships between veterans and youth, creating opportunities for mentorship, career development, and civic engagement. Veterans will share leadership and technical skills, while youth gain exposure to career pathways and professional networks.

These collaborations bridge generational gaps, promote resilience, and inspire positive life choices. Shared projects encourage entrepreneurship, attract local investment, and boost volunteerism and advocacy, all while building a stronger sense of purpose and belonging.
