FORT DRUM, NY – JUNE 29, 2026: AmeriCU Credit Union proudly celebrated its 14th Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert as part of Fort Drum Family, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation’s (FMWR) Mountainfest. The free event brought the community together for an evening of celebration and appreciation, honoring the brave soldiers of the U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division (LI).

Held on June 25, this year’s concert was headlined by acclaimed country music artist Nate Smith, who delivered a crowd-pleasing performance that had fans singing along and cheering throughout the night.

The evening began with a performance by the 10th Mountain Division Band, followed by special guest Chayce Beckham, who set the tone with his high-energy performance.

“It is incredible to see the community come together year after year to celebrate and honor our service members,” said Ron Belle, AmeriCU President and CEO. “Seeing thousands of people enjoy a great evening of music while showing their appreciation it’s really a special. We are also grateful for the support of our sponsors, whose partnership helps make this event possible.”

This year’s event brought nearly 20,000 attendees together, including service members, their families, and community members, to enjoy a day filled with fun activities, food, and a live concert. The support and presence of the community made the night even more meaningful for the soldiers and their families.

Fort Drum is the home of the 10th Mountain Division (LI), located in northern New York’s picturesque North Country. The installation covers about 107,265 acres, or 168 square miles, stretching into two counties.
