The Fulton Memorial Day Salute is an annual, family‑friendly event that honors military veterans and fallen heroes while celebrating longstanding local traditions. Now in its 45th year, the celebration takes place at the Fulton Community Center and Recreation Park and features a full weekend of activities, including a Saturday morning parade with local bands and military participants, a Veteran of the Year recognition, a Watchfire ceremony for retired U.S. flags, live music, rides, food vendors, family entertainment, a 5K run, children’s poster contests, and a fireworks display over Lake Neatahwanta to conclude the event.
