Paige’s Butterfly Run is a premier, family-friendly community event held in downtown Syracuse in conjunction with the Taste of Syracuse. Celebrating its 30th year on June 6, 2026, the event features multiple race options including a USATF-certified 5K, a 3K fitness run/walk, a 5K centipede team race, and a Caterpillar Crawl for children under five. The event brings together runners, walkers, families, and community members from across Central New York.
The event aims to raise critical funds to support pediatric cancer research and patient programs at the Dr. William J. Waters Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. It also promotes health, wellness, and community engagement while honoring children and families impacted by pediatric cancer.
AmeriCU supports Paige’s Butterfly Run as part of its commitment to strengthening social services that directly improve the health and well-being of local families. By supporting this event, AmeriCU helps fund critical pediatric cancer research and patient support programs at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital, ensuring children and families facing serious illness have access to vital care and resources. This partnership reflects AmeriCU’s dedication to compassion, community care, and making a meaningful impact where it is needed most.
