Annual Percentage Yields (APY) are current as of February 1, 2025 and the rate may change after the account is opened. Earn 7.00% APY on checking account balances up to $25,000, 3.58% APY to 7.00% APY on balances of $25,000.01 to $50,000, and 0.20% APY to 3.57% APY on balances $50,000.01 and over when you meet the three requirements below:
• Make 12 or more debit signature swipes per monthly statement cycle; and
• Carry over $50,000 in combined active advanced loan dollars in good standing (including lines of credit but not credit card balances); and
• Be enrolled with eStatements.
If you do not meet the above requirements, you will earn 0.05% APY on balances $.01 to $10,000, 0.10% APY on balances $10,000.01 – $25,000, 0.15% APY on balances of $25,000.01 to $50,000, and 0.20% APY on balances $50,000.01 and over.
Qualifying debit card sales transactions include each time you use your AmeriCONNECT Visa Debit Card to make a purchase from a vendor or merchant. Selecting Credit at checkout instead of Debit qualifies as a Debit Signature Swipe, without the use of a PIN. These transactions must post and clear your account during each monthly payment cycle. ATM and ACH transactions or transfers do not qualify. If you don’t meet the requirements outlined above, you will not earn the rewards.
We pay dividends earned by your account at the end of each monthly billing cycle. This is a tiered account.
Our monthly statement cycle ends on the last day of each month and statements are generated on the first day of each month. There are no rollover transactions. There is no minimum balance required to open or maintain this account. Monthly fees apply. Fees may reduce earnings on the account. Refer to the Truth in Savings Disclosure for Business Savings and Checking/Fee Schedule for monthly maintenance and other account fees. There is a limit of three AmeriCU High Rate or Rewards Checking accounts allowed per member.
