SYRACUSE, NY – FEBRUARY 20, 2025: AmeriCU Credit Union is proud to once again support the Syracuse Crunch mental wellness initiative, reinforcing our shared mission to break the stigma surrounding mental wellness and promote open conversations within our communities.
The Syracuse Crunch, in conjunction with AmeriCU Credit Union and other local organizations, will come together for the team’s season-long awareness campaign to educate fans on mental wellness. This initiative isn’t just a call for change; it is a movement dedicated to delivering education, fostering awareness, and encouraging dialogue. AmeriCU is honored to help make a significant step forward in promoting mental well-being.

AmeriCU Credit Union will team up with the Syracuse Crunch to start the mental wellness conversation. Syracuse Crunch players will share the challenges they have experienced with mental wellness, offering valuable insights and support to youth, hockey coaches, parents, fans, and the wider community. Players will share their stories during the hockey season, a mental wellness tip will be shared during each game, and the Syracuse Crunch will hold a special Mental Wellness Awareness Night on March 1st during the 2024-25 season.
