Twelve $1,000 Scholarships Available to AmeriCU Members
AmeriCU is proud to connect twelve deserving high school seniors, or continuing college students, with a $1,000 scholarship toward their education.

The AmeriCU Scholarship Program is open to all primary members who will be attending an accredited college, university or other institution of higher learning on a full-time basis during the next academic school year. Employees of AmeriCU, Directors, committee members, volunteers and their families are not eligible. Please pay close attention to all application requirements and deadlines, as incomplete or late applications will be deemed ineligible. Completed applications must be received no later than March 15, 2026. Scholarship recipients are chosen by a committee made up of AmeriCU members. Winners will be notified by May 2026. Anyone not notified by May was not selected as a scholarship recipient this year.
1. Rome Dollars for Scholars – A local nonprofit organization providing scholarships to students in the Rome, NY area to support their higher education goals.
2. On Point for College – A program that helps students with admissions, financial aid, and scholarships to make college accessible.
3. Rome College Foundation – A foundation that awards scholarships and financial assistance to students from the Rome, NY community attending college.
4. FastWeb – An online scholarship search platform that matches students with thousands of scholarship opportunities based on their profile.
5. Scholarship Owl – A scholarship aggregator that streamlines applications by allowing students to apply to multiple scholarships through one platform.
6. Scholarship America – A national nonprofit organization that administers scholarships and educational assistance programs for students across the U.S.
7. Scholarship Finder – A free online tool that helps students search and filter scholarships based on eligibility and interests.
8. Scholarships 360 – A scholarship search website offering curated lists and personalized recommendations for students seeking financial aid.
