I’m Melinda Rios, the Financial Center Manager at AmeriCU’s Griffiss location. I joined AmeriCU in the fall of 2022, bringing with me over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. My career began in the student loan sector, and I later spent several years as a small business owner—experiences that have shaped my approach to helping members achieve financial success.
I’m passionate about building relationships and providing personalized support to help you reach your financial goals. Johnson Park Center Back-to-School Event – August 21, 2026
The Annual Back-to-School Giveaway at the JPG Community Center provides backpacks filled with school supplies, dental hygiene items, and additional food support to local families. Held alongside the organization’s weekly food pantry, the event serves children and families across Oneida, Herkimer, Otsego, Madison, and surrounding counties, with a goal of assisting 2,500 students in 2026.
