Due to ongoing vocal issues, Nate Smith has been forced to cancel all scheduled performances for the remainder of the month, including his appearance as the headliner for AmeriCU’s Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert. Keep an eye out on AmeriCU’s social media as we will be releasing the new headlining artist to take the stage after Priscilla Block. We look forward to another memorable concert with you all on Thursday, June 26!

FORT DRUM, NY – MAY 13, 2025: AmeriCU Credit Union is proud to announce Nate Smith as the headliner for the 13th Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert at Fort Drum’s Mountainfest, with special guest Priscilla Block kicking off the evening.

This concert will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Fort Drum. It is presented by AmeriCU Credit Union in partnership with the newly formed AmeriCU Charitable Foundation as a way to honor the service and sacrifice of the U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division soldiers, their families, and the greater Fort Drum community. The concert is free and open to the public.

“AmeriCU was first established 75 years ago on Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome. Our roots with the military run deep. It’s a part of who we are,” said Dyana Herrig O’Neill, AmeriCU Chief Experience Officer. “We’ve had a financial center at Fort Drum for more than 35 years, and we understand the sacrifice that soldiers and their families make every day. We are deeply honored to be able to give back and honor those who serve.”

The 10th Mountain Division, stationed at Fort Drum, New York, has been the most deployed Unit of the U.S. military since 2001. When soldiers were returning from deployment in 2012, the AmeriCU Credit Union team, along with the Fort Drum community, wanted to do something special to welcome them home, so they worked together to form the Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert.

We are proud to honor our service members with the 13th Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert on Thursday, June 26. Fort Drum Post will open to the public at 12 noon, with the concert starting at 7 PM. For more information on Salute to the Troops, visit www.americu.org/salutetothetroops.
