AmeriCU was founded on Griffiss Air Force base in 1950. Today, we still have a Financial Center in the Griffiss Business Park, and another on Fort Drum. Many of our employees are former or retired members of the military, and many have spouses who are currently serving so we understand and appreciate the unique demands of military life.
