Financial Center Manager
Meet the Manager
Welcome to AmeriCU! I’m Heather Wood, and I’m the Manager of AmeriCU’s Fayetteville Financial Center. I also oversee the AmeriCU location at Towne Center Retirement Community. I’m a graduate of the Leadership Greater Syracuse program and continue to volunteer at the organization. As an advocate for members and the credit union movement, I’m an active member of the New York Credit Union Association and attend the Governmental Affairs day in Albany to advocate to lawmakers. I’m also an event volunteer for CenterState CEO, the Greater Manlius Chamber of Commerce, the Armory Square Downtown Business, the American Heart Association, Syracuse Heart Walk., and Charity for Children, Inc. Syracuse.
Outside of work, I can be found on the soccer field supporting my daughter’s team, attending all types of concerts with my family, and out running in many local races including the Boilermaker Road Race, Mountain Goat Run, and color runs.
